The AMAA field consists of a 300 X 40 foot asphalt runway with overruns on both ends and to the north, consisting of packed dirt, making it a 700 X 80 foot runway, a ” pit ” area with two taxi ways which is asphalt covered and two picnic areas that are covered by steel roofs with a barbeque grill located to the west side.
We now have a 10 X 10 Heli-pad for hovering work on your Helicopter and are in the process of installing an infield grass area between the taxi ways and out towards the Heli-pad. Satellite views of the flying site and runway are contained in this website under Photos/Field Photos.
